Bazaar Preparations

I am currently preparing for my upcoming bazaar to be held on the first Sunday of September. I have been beading seriously since the start of August though I don't think I have enough for the event. A little bit of everything worked for quite sometime but then again I had to work and make something new, and when I do that, I feel like starting all over again. Aarrgghh!

Bazaars makes me crazy. I tend to do all my projects at the same time. Monday-Tuesday=bracelets, Wednesday-Thursday=earrings, Friday= rings, Saturday=bag jewels and Sunday=beaded utensils. The thing is.....can I be strict and follow? If only I will be able to follow my self imposed schedule, bazaar life will be so much easier. But what the heck! I'll be in the bazaar come first Sunday of September, prepared or not I think the bottom line here is to have FUN. And I will definitely have one!

I agree that the bottom line is to just have fun. Use this bazaar as a learning tool. You'll see what buyers are most interested in...you might find that certain items will sell better or faster than other items. Have you thought about taking custom orders for pieces that day? Just a thought. btw...your pieces are beautiful!

Thanks for this Betty! I guess Im just nervous if customers will have a positive/negative reaction to my beading now. I started working more with wire, copper and aluminum, even gold. Though I haven't used gold with the pieces I will sell this bazaar. I tried using aluminum wire with bracelets and earrings, shaping them with the help of a jig. At the same time Im also experimenting with wire weaving and coiling. Im on a roll and hoping that new and old customers will welcome my new pieces. Will post some of them soon. And yes, I take custom orders as well as bulk orders. :D
